ABOUT THE PROJECT
Garhmukteshwar railway station is one of the railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which was launched in 2023 to develop and modernize railway stations across the Indian Railways network. The Amrit Bharat station scheme currently plans to upgrade and modernize 1,275 stations.
The place derives its name from the grand Mukteshwar Mahadeva temple, which has inspired its temple-like façade design. At the top of the porch one main shikhar is at the centre of the porch and four small shikhar are at the top four corners of the porch.
